Our programs:
• Udhyam Shiksha works on developing entrepreneurial mindsets among the youth and enabling them to achieve their potential, having impacted ~16,00,000 learners across 10 Indian states.
• Udhyam Vyapaar focuses on nano businesses in India, and solving large problems faced by them, at scale; having already enabled upto a 27% income uplift for 5000+ entrepreneurs.
The goal for Udhyam is to build a thriving and supportive ecosystem, where every individual feels empowered to define their own path.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Assessment and Data Analysis:
- Conduct student assessments (baselines, midlines, endlines, or any other) as per the program timeline and requirement.
- Analyze data from dashboards/Excel sheets to make informed decisions and strategies at block and district level.
- Operational knowledge of Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Meet, etc.) for uploading files, generating links, and sharing documents online.
- Document program-related activities, collect data, and report findings to ensure accurate tracking of program progress.
2. Classroom and Teacher Support:
- Provide minimum 10 on-site support per month in schools to teachers through classroom observations in assigned districts.
- Offer frequent virtual support to teachers for updating program milestones, Kaushalam Pragati Praptra (KPP), and effective chatbot usage via phone calls and online meetings.
- Assist MTs in conducting teacher training sessions at different levels.
- Participate in weekly/monthly team meetings and share field observations, including insights on curriculum milestones.
3. Program Implementation and Coordination:
- Regularly coordinate with school principals and teachers on program updates.
- Ensure the collection of at least 100 quality project ideas from students and a minimum of 10 success stories from teachers and students in an academic year in their assigned districts.
- Support state and central teams during donor visits, research work, and monitoring activities.
- Provide logistical and curriculum-related support to teachers and students.
- Ensure the distribution of program materials, such as manuals and student workbooks, and coordinate with schools for period allocation.
4. Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including DIETs, BEOs, CEOs, and DMs, ensuring regular engagement and program visibility (at least once a month).
- Support the central/state team in organizing state-level events and gathering district-level data when needed.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain thorough documentation of work in written and audiovisual formats.
- Capture and document success stories from the field and share them with stakeholders.
Skills, Experience and Mindsets
- A keen interest in the development and education sector.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Prior experience working with teachers and school-level stakeholders is highly desirable.
- Willingness to travel across the district as required.
- Fluency in both Hindi and English with excellent reading and writing skills.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively across teams.
- Demonstrated skills in stakeholder management, problem-solving, and analytical thinking.
