About Udhyam:
Udhyam Learning Foundation (Udhyam) is on a mission towards Making Bharat Entrepreneurial. We believe that entrepreneurship is a powerful way to channelize an individual’s potential. Entrepreneurship enables agency and allows an individual to work on their strengths while creating value for the world.
Our programs:
• Udhyam Shiksha works on developing entrepreneurial mindsets among the youth and enabling them to achieve their potential, having impacted ~24,00,000 learners across 12 Indian states.
• Udhyam Vyapaar focuses on nano businesses in India, and solving large problems faced by them, at scale; having already enabled up to a 27% income uplift for 7000+ entrepreneurs. The goal for Udhyam is to build a thriving and supportive ecosystem, where every individual feels empowered to define their own path.
Responsibilities
1. Beneficiary Identification & Onboarding
Identify and map potential vyaparis (Istriwalas) across designated areas in Delhi.
Pitch the project benefits to vyaparis and onboard those interested.
Maintain clear records of onboarded vyaparis with necessary details.
2. Awareness Creation
Conduct awareness sessions with vyaparis, LPG dealers, and local retailers about the LPG iron box benefits.
Build relationships with community leaders to improve outreach.
3. Retailer Activation
Identify and onboard retailers to stock and distribute LPG iron boxes.
Ensure retailers understand the subsidy model and are equipped to support beneficiaries.
4. Product Distribution & Training
Facilitate the distribution of LPG iron boxes to onboarded vyaparis.
Conduct usage and self-service training to ensure proper handling and maintenance of the LPG iron box.
5. Aftersales Support
Identify individuals (vyaparis or retailers) willing to become service nodes for minor repairs and guidance.
Provide basic service training to these identified individuals.
6. Data Collection & Reporting
Collect data from vyaparis for project tracking and reporting.
Regularly update Lakshay with on-ground progress, challenges, and insights.
7. Operational Support
Assist in organizing local events, awareness drives, and distribution activities.
Maintain clear documentation of all activities, including photos and beneficiary details.
8. Accountability & Coordination
Follow the project plan and targets shared by Lakshay.
Report concerns, risks, or gaps observed during fieldwork.
