• Udhyam Vyapaar focuses on nano businesses in India, and solving large problems faced by them, at scale; having already enabled up to a 27% income uplift for 5000+ entrepreneurs.

The goal for Udhyam is to build a thriving and supportive ecosystem, where every individual feels empowered to define their own path.

Overview: We are seeking an experienced candidate who is dynamic, resourceful, and innovative to facilitate the matchmaking process between solution seekers (rural entrepreneurs) and service providers (solution providers, consultants, experts, and service providers) on our online platform. This role requires a good understanding of rural entrepreneurship, strong customer management skills  and the ability to leverage technology to facilitate successful connections.

Responsibilities:

  1. User Engagement and Support

    • Engage with solution seekers to understand their needs and preferences.

    • Provide guidance and support to solution seekers on navigating the platform effectively to find suitable providers.

    • Exploring ways and means to customise solutions to varying contexts

  2. Matchmaking solutions 

    • Utilise platform set up and algorithms to match solution seekers with providers based on expertise, location, availability, and other relevant criteria.

    • Simplify solutions and provide it in a manner that is easy to understand and implement 

    • Communicate with technology team on learning / suggestions for improving user interface, ease of use  

    • Augment solution repository by tracking and documenting solutions delivered, customisation and implementation support 

  3. Monitoring data and evaluating performance

    • Track robustness and visibility of platform and analyse platform provided data and user feedback to identify demand trends, user profiles, user funnel and implementation status 

    • Identify challenges, and opportunities for improving the platform strategy and matchmaking experience.

  4. Training and Education:

    • Develop training resources and materials to educate solution seekers and providers on best practices for using the platform.

Requirements:

  • Past experience in consulting, research, product management, CRM or similar roles preferably in an online platform or marketplace.

  • Understanding of rural entrepreneurship, challenges faced by rural entrepreneurs, and knowledge of relevant resources and support systems.

  • Good oral and written  communication skills and ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders including entrepreneurs, consultants, and internal teams.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate insights.

  • Experience with CRM systems, project management tools, and proficiency in using technology to streamline processes.
